Setting Up Your First Email Sequence

What is an Email Sequence?

An email sequence is a series of automated emails sent to leads at scheduled intervals. Use them for cold outreach, onboarding, or follow-ups.


Step 1 — Go to Campaigns

Navigate to Campaigns → New Campaign → Email Sequence.


Step 2 — Choose a Template

Pick from our library of proven templates or start from scratch.


Step 3 — Add Steps

Each step is an email. Set:

  • Delay — how many days after the previous step
  • Subject line — use {{first_name}} for personalization
  • Email body — supports HTML and plain text

    • Step 4 — Set Enrollment Conditions

    Choose which contacts receive this sequence — by tag, pipeline stage, or CSV import.


    Step 5 — Launch

    Toggle the sequence to Active. Emails will send automatically based on your schedule.


    Tips

  • Keep subject lines under 50 characters
  • Add at least 3 follow-up steps — most replies come after the 3rd email
  • Always include an unsubscribe link (EmacronAI CRM adds one automatically)
