How to Import Contacts from a CSV File

Supported Formats

Required Columns

Your file must have at least one of: email or phone

Optional Columns

first_name, last_name, company, job_title, city, state, country, tags

Step 1 — Download the Template

Go to Contacts → Import → Download Template to get a pre-formatted CSV.

Step 2 — Fill in Your Data

Add your contacts to the template. Do not change the column headers.

Step 3 — Upload

Go to Contacts → Import, drag and drop your file, and click Upload.

Step 4 — Map Columns (if needed)

If you're using a custom file, map your column names to EmacronAI CRM fields.

Step 5 — Confirm & Import

Review the preview and click Import Contacts. Large files (>10,000 rows) may take a few minutes.
