Slack

Connect EmacronAI CRM to Slack to receive real-time notifications in your team channels — new leads, deal updates, campaign completions, and conversation alerts.

Prerequisites

• 1A Slack workspace where you have permission to add apps
• 2EmacronAI CRM workspace with admin or owner role
• 3If your Slack workspace requires admin approval for app installs, contact your Slack Workspace Owner first

Step-by-step setup

1. 1

   Create a Slack App

   Go to api.slack.com/apps and sign in to the Slack workspace you want to connect.

   1. Click Create New App → Blank app

   2. Enter App Name: EmacronAI CRM

   3. Select your Development Workspace

   4. Click Create App

   Important: Choose Blank app — do not select the AI Agent or Starter App templates.

   Add the Required Permissions

   After the app is created, open OAuth & Permissions → scroll to Scopes → Bot Token Scopes → click Add an OAuth Scope and add these four permissions:

   chat:write
   channels:read
   channels:join
   links:write

   chat:write — Send messages as @EmacronAI CRM

   channels:read — View basic info about public channels

   channels:join — Join public channels automatically

   links:write — Show rich previews of EmacronAI CRM links in messages

   Do not add additional scopes unless EmacronAI CRM specifically requires them.

   Install EmacronAI CRM in Slack

   Still on the OAuth & Permissions page, find OAuth Tokens for Your Workspace and click Install to Workspace.

   1. Review the permissions → click Allow

   2. Slack will display a Bot User OAuth Token

   3. Click Copy — the token starts with xoxb-

   xoxb-xxxxxxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

   Keep this token private. It gives EmacronAI CRM access to the permissions you granted. Treat it like a password.

   Connect Slack to EmacronAI CRM

   Go back to EmacronAI CRM → Settings → Integrations → Slack.

   1. Paste your Bot User OAuth Token (xoxb-...) into the Slack token field

   2. Click Connect

   3. EmacronAI CRM will verify the token live before saving

   Open Integrations settings →

   Add EmacronAI CRM to a Channel

   After connecting, open the Slack channel where you want EmacronAI CRM to send notifications. In the message box, type:

   /invite @EmacronAI CRM

   Press Enter. If Slack asks you to select the app, choose EmacronAI CRM.

   ✅ Slack Connected

   When everything is complete, EmacronAI CRM will show 🟢 Slack Connected. You can now receive notifications in your connected Slack workspace.
